Your experience begins the moment you arrive at Chōwa. Our scalp specialists will carry out a personalised diagnosis of your scalp and hair fibre, selecting from our masterful formulas the ones best suited to your needs. This ensures your experience is completely tailored to you, restoring the beauty and vitality of your scalp and hair.
In-cabin ritual
You will then move into the treatment room, where our therapists — specialists in scalp and body therapies — will guide you on a sensorial journey of relaxation.
During your session, they will combine the selected hair treatments with a variety of manual massage techniques applied to the scalp, face, shoulders, arms, and hands — and in some rituals, also the feet. These include traditional relaxation methods blended with lymphatic drainage, chiromassage, and Ayurvedic techniques.
Bespoke aromatherapy
As part of the experience, you will enjoy a personalised aromatherapy session of your choice. All our essential oils have calming effects and help reduce anxiety and stress. Each one has been carefully selected by our team of aromacologists and also provides benefits for both the scalp and the hair fibre.
Shirodhara cascade
To complete your experience, we will conclude the in-cabin session with our exclusive Shirodhara Cascade, whose main purpose is to soothe the hypothalamus and serve as the final touch of your journey into relaxation.
Finishing & styling
At the end of your in-cabin experience, our team of stylists will finish with a blow-dry or straightening while you enjoy a revitalising drink to gently bring you back from your sensorial journey. For gentlemen, we include a haircut and/or traditional beard grooming performed by our experienced team of barbers.
