Your hair has a history, a shade and a texture of its own. Before we begin, we assess your scalp with a microcamera. We examine your hair, listen to your wishes and consider previous colour treatments to define the result together.

We blend the botanical clays with warm water. Their plant pigments coat the hair fibre with a delicate veil of colour that respects its structure.
They do not lighten your natural shade. Instead, they complement it with subtle highlights and nuances, creating a multi-tonal finish that preserves the depth of your base colour.

The tones blend with your base colour, allowing a softer transition as your hair grows, with less pronounced contrast between the roots and the coloured lengths.
Maintenance can be scheduled every month, every two months or every three, depending on the amount of grey hair, your hair growth and the result you wish to maintain.

Does botanical clay colour lighten the hair?
No. It adds pigments and nuances to your natural base without lightening it. This is why we assess your starting shade and discuss the result you would like.
Can I use botanical clay colour on previously coloured hair?
We assess previous colour treatments and the condition of your hair before making a recommendation. If an initial correction is needed, we will explain the process and provide a quote.
Can I have highlights, other colour treatments or a straightening treatment after botanical clay colouring?
Yes, highlights, other colour treatments or straightening may be possible after botanical clay colouring, following an assessment of product compatibility and your hair’s condition. Choosing botanical clay colour does not mean giving up future changes to your look.
Plant-based colour formulas do not all have the same composition. Before a new service, we review the products previously applied and the result you would like; in some cases, a strand test may be needed. This allows us to advise you on suitable options for your hair and care for the final result.
What if I have fine or fragile hair, or I am concerned about hair loss?
Botanical clay colouring can be an option for fine hair: its plant pigments bind to the hair fibre and may add shine and a fuller feel, without lightening your natural base.
Scalp care is also part of the choice. We assess the plants in the formula, your sensitivity and previous colour treatments to select a suitable approach, prioritising tolerance and comfort. The benefits depend on the composition of the blend and each person’s needs.
If you are concerned about hair loss, we begin by assessing your scalp and distinguishing between hair breakage and shedding from the root. Colouring can be part of a hair-care routine; if shedding persists or increases, a dermatologist can help identify its cause and recommend appropriate treatment.
